AC Milan coach Fonseca plans to make lineup adjustments in the next game against newly promoted Parma. New signings Strasinja Pavlovic and Yusuf Fofana are expected to start, as are Theo Hernandez and Reinders, who were on the bench in the last game.

Fonseca's selection decision in the first game of the season against Torino has caused a lot of controversy, and it is still fermenting. AC Milan performed poorly in the opening game at the San Siro Stadium. The team lacked balance and continued the problem last year. In order to enhance the team's stability, Fonseca plans to make lineup adjustments in the next round against Parma.

Turin Sports pointed out that in order to enhance Milan's overall compactness, the Portuguese may make two important adjustments: Strasinja Pavlovic may be introduced in the defense, and Yusuf Fofana may be assigned to the midfield. The former sat on the bench for the entire game against Torino, while the latter had just joined and was still watching the game in the stands (he was introduced to the fans at halftime). Now, both are expected to be in the starting lineup against Parma.

One of the purposes of Strahija Pavlovic's introduction is to inject some tough fighting spirit into Milan's defense, while the midfield has always lacked a physical player like Yusuf Fofana who can provide balance for the whole team.

Compared with the game against Torino, AC Milan may have other changes in the starting lineup, such as Theo Hernandez may return to the starting lineup as left back, and Reinders is also expected to become Yusuf Fofana's midfield partner.
