After the game started, both sides tried their best to defend. There were constant iron shots on the court. The US team committed fouls in succession. Wilson, Collier and Plum made four free throws. With 2 minutes and 20 seconds left in the first quarter, the US team led 10-5. Johannes scored twice in singles to close the gap. Wilson scored 4 points with free throws. The American team took another 8 points to lead 43-40 again. Johannes hit a three-pointer to tie the game, and Wilson made two free throws. At the end of the third quarter, the American team led 45-43.

Badiani's jump shot opened the curtain of the fourth quarter, and the French team tied again. After 47 and 49 ties, Badiani scored under the basket, and the French team successfully overtook. Wilson made a foul and made two free throws to tie the game. After 55 ties, Stewart and Wilson scored 3 points, and the American team took the lead again. Williams made two free throws to close the gap, and Plum made both free throws. The two sides continued to maintain a 3-point gap.

Williams made a jump shot to close the gap again, and Copper broke through and succeeded. The US team led 62-59.
