On August 21, a source from Paris Saint-Germain informed L'Equipe that the current relationship between Kylian Mbappe and the club is constructive, with no intention of fostering a hostile environment between the player and PSG.

Earlier reports suggested that Mbappe had requested €55 million from Paris Saint-Germain, with the understanding that this amount was owed to him by his former club. However, PSG officials have yet to comment on the specifics, emphasizing that there is no hostility in their relationship with Mbappe and expressing a desire to resolve the matter amicably, without the need for intervention from Ligue 1 or UEFA.

A PSG source provided L'Equipe with insights into how the club is managing the situation. The source pointed to positive signs, such as an interview with Mbappe's mother in Le Parisien a few weeks ago and Mbappe's recent social media post wishing the club a happy birthday, as evidence of the constructive dialogue.

Mundo Deportivo further detailed Mbappe's financial requests, which include the final third of a signing bonus he received in February (amounting to €36 million), the last three months of wages stipulated in his contract (covering April, May, and June), and a "loyalty bonus."
