Paris Saint-Germain athletes won no less than 16 medals in this Olympics, Ashraf is among them

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, athletes affiliated with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) achieved remarkable success, securing a total of no less than 16 medals across various disciplines.

In the individual judo competition, PSG athlete Lucas Mkhize claimed the silver medal in the men's 62 kg category, while Amandine Bouchard earned the bronze medal in the women's 52 kg category.

In the judo heavyweight division, Teddy Riner triumphed, winning the gold medal for France. Meanwhile, Romani Dick secured the bronze medal in the women's heavyweight category.

The French judo team, bolstered by the presence of PSG athletes, showcased exceptional teamwork. In the team competition, the French squad emerged victorious against the formidable Japanese team in the final match, which featured a decisive bout between Teddy Riner and Saito. This victory secured the gold medal for the French team.

In the football competition, PSG players also shone brightly. Moroccan captain Achraf Hakimi, representing his country, helped lead the team to a bronze medal. Spanish goalkeeper Arnau Ternas was instrumental in Spain's victory over the French team, earning the gold medal as part of the Spanish squad.

PSG's influence extended to the women's football competition, with no fewer than eight players participating in the tournament. Led by PSG midfielder Corbin Albert, the United States team dominated and won the gold medal.

These successes highlight the significant contribution of PSG-affiliated athletes to the 2024 Paris Olympics, showcasing their talent and dedication on the global stage.
